Yoga takes us on a sacred, magical and healthy path in life. It teaches us how to be more detached from our minds, more flexible and vibrant, positive and grounded. It brings us to a joyful destination where we can grow spiritually. It lets us discover our own divine essence and powerful life force (prana). In subtle ways, it reveals and lets us feel the spark of divinity within ourselves.
Yin Yoga is a type of Yoga that mostly targets the lower back and hips, you hold the postures for longer periods of time and you stretch more the tendons than the muscles.
The greatest benefit of Yin Yoga is more flexibility in the joints resulting in a better posture and a clearly greater flexibility of the body. This flexibility of the body is also related to emotional and mind flexibility.
This type of Yoga usually it is practiced through a sequence of different postures that evolve from one to another of increasing difficulty and more challenge. It is characterized by a flow between these yoga postures where movement and breathing are coordinated.
The selection of a sequence is based on the stage of yoga practice and the needs of the client.
I love to teach Yoga one on one because in most cases clients have never practiced Yoga before. As a private, personal yoga instructor, it allows me to see the individual progress and customize my teaching according to their needs.
Usually, a connection between the client and myself develops, which help towards a better and better personalized practice, and most important, it becomes very fun for both of us!
Very efficient in the sense that I can teach more people at the same time, for a reduced cost. It can be done in the comfort of your house, office, or any setting chosen for yoga practice.
The setting always plays an especial role, in general it is among nature, in front of the sea. Usually practiced at dawn or sunset twice a day, combined with meditation and breathing to create a special spiritual day in a special setting.
A group retreat could be considered a Spiritual Vacation and space for reflection and introspection. Great to recharge and come back to our daily routine with another perspective in life.
